The purchase process starts with homebuyer contact with our designated sales consultant in each community. These are identified for each of the programs listed in this web site. Early on Chris is brought into contact with the buyers to determine their needs in home size and design. That information is relayed to the design firm of Gary/Ragsdale and Associates for preliminary floor plan and elevation revision and/or development. This is an iterative process that results in a realistic estimate of home price by Jaeger Homes prior to completion of working drawings for final pricing.
Once a contract is signed, several weeks are required to secure a building permit and developer architectural approval. Prior to actual construction, buyers meet with Operations Vice President, Jason Hollis, to outline the schedule of necessary home selections as well as any last minute changes to the plans. During construction, many interactions occur with Jason as well as with Larry or Chris Jaeger to assist in floor plan and elevation details. Our goal is to offer our expertise in assisting the buyers so that each home ends up even better than imagined by the buyers. Change orders usually are common, and unlike most competitors, associated prices are figured commensurate with prices had they been in the original contract. Jaeger Homes does not use extras and change orders as a means to overcharge its clients.
